Lyttelton votes with her paws

"I tried to walk past the pub, but the dog wouldn't let me." Sounds like a line, doesn't it? A weak excuse. In my case, it's nothing less than the truth. My beloved Lyttelton can't walk past the entrance of my local pub, the Old Spot, without cornering and going in.

Bullseye - George Best
Просмотров 157 тыс.12 лет назад
George Best lobs the arrers for charity, and Jim Bowen does a piece to camera while the audience members pass around a large Tupperware box of sandwiches behind him. Classic Bully.

Joe Harriott and Stan Tracey - In A Sentimental Mood
I names my son after Ollie like many women my age. He could take any interviewer on, wonderful diction, voice and quicker witted than most
That's cool Kenny Jones who is the drummer ended up taking Keith moons place in The Who. Pretty cool.
Had a drink with this wonderful man in the Dog and Fox in wimbledon, such a wonderful afternoon
Fantastic man, sadly missed
John Huston felt Morley could have held his own with Oscar Wilde...
Dang I prefer this to Paul McCartney signing
A shame lost to alcoholism
Barrymore out his depth and somehow tried to make it about him. Talentless ghoul of a bloke. “I’d open a sandwich bar”. Christ almighty.
Such a pleasure to listen to……and watch
Great.. Saw them in the 70s
I remember watching that episode at the time. It was early days Bullseye. You would have thought that George might have set a precedent for all darts players that didn’t get above 301…….but I don’t remember anyone else ever chipping in with their own cash for the charity. Bestie was pure class!
Ronnie Lane lovely voice but SORRY when Rod comes in at 1:10 it's like master and apprentice!
Another number by Paul McCartney.
True wordsmith
Trevor is the driver man in this group
Mind you no auto tune or click track or sequenced anything. Jamming live on my guitars is my favorite thing
One hell of a band.
High school days! Great band, ROD!!!!!
Nice clip, I laughed at the audience members passing a box around, wonder what was in that?
Too clever and before its time.
Tell that 11 million out there! Viewing figures ain't like that anymore in England anyway.
Everybody sat down at Sunday tea time and watched bully. Was getting 18 million at its peak and still pulling 11 million when it was canned
What a handsome man Jim Bowen was, without doubt the best that ever lived. 😂
オリジナルメンバーですね?
67 at a guess?
Passing the packed lunch forward during Jim's intro Crowd didn't exactly go ape at George coming on Was Tony using a calculator when George was throwing? Looked like it Jim's usual assertive on floor direction - "Meet George!" And as others have said, the tight Farah slacks! George was brilliant, and I have to laugh at "haven't played for two years", "here's £100". Good man.
I find it impossible for me to watch a Sammy Davis Jr. video without a big smile on my face.
Poor wee thing. She was soaking, limping and there was a Crow on one side and an Ape on the other and ee must have been her best bet
Gonna lock Peggy in for the n. Wee soul
Brilliant stuff and very good of George to put more money to the charity. I saw Alex Higgins win a computer once and without hesitation he gave it to the kids from a school watching the exhibition snooker match. Two geniuses, both flawed, both missed and true gentleman especially when sober. RIP to both Legends and we will never see their like again.
That trumpeter doesnt look like a jazzman
Great voices great song but not a candle on Macca
Saudoso Ronnie Lane...
Big sound!
I would have had a go at Lady Barnett , I wouldn't care .....She is a sexy ole Bird !!!!
A down to earth bloke I’d love to have had a few beers with this guy… in fact a session in the pub
Ronnie Laine can sing nane. Rod's ok here.
Who are the female actresses?
Rod and Ron made a good musical team. Great cover.
Voor ronnie lane 😢
Well, a first for me. All I could do is send this around to the dwindling crowd..
Like I said a million times. The man is a genius from Glasgow where im.from. There will never be another. God bless you sir we are blessed to have you
Great without Castle 🙏😁😁😁😁😁
I only saw Buddy play at Ronnie’s just the one time, however it was the evening Kenny also came to watch and by that time he was already quite ill. Buddy made an announcement that Kenny was in the audience and made the gesture of handing him his drumsticks and inviting him to play with the band! Which he did to great applause and he was fantastic…x
The actress Lorna McDonald injured her leg badly when Dee drove off too soon - watch the sequence and you can just see it before the cut.
Wakey WAAAA-KEYYYY!
No sound
He was just brilliant.
i love they how they rub the loss in by still showing the clips of what it is they lost, its not enough to just to tell them lol
One of the greatest live bands ever
The shag haircut. I remember sporting one too in the early 70s
